December 18, 2009 Kuala Perlis fire blaze (Update 2)

KUALA PERLIS – Around midnight, Kuala Perlis residents were shocked by a sudden blaze in Hotel Asia, near a three-block-flat housing area.
A brief visit to the area during the night did not reveal much as the police already set up ‘police line’ surrounding the vicinity. The fire was quite huge as it can be seen from a kilometre from the blaze area.
Total damage incurred are still unknown while there is no casualties.
MIC Deepavali Open House 2009

KUALA LUMPUR, OCTOBER 17th – MIC (President and central committee members) has organized an open house for everyone in Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) today. As on 1.30 p.m, approximately 7000 people have thronged Merdeka Hall, Level 4, PWTC.
According to previous news sources, the MIC president, Dato’ Seri Samy Vellu has said it will be organized with 1Malaysia spirit. This is proven true when people around there really mix with each other and it also proves that 1Malaysia is not merely a political rhetoric, instead it has become a ‘brand’, a brand for Malaysian unity.
